In 2024 there were 17 nations winning stages across the three grand tours with Denmark, Germany, Czechia, Switzerland, Canada and the USA winning 1 each and the other 11 winning the remaining 27. Among these nations Slovenia won the most with the riders Tadej Pogacar and Primoz Roglic winning 15 stages between them.

The riders representing each county across the three grand tours varied drastically with France having 59 across the teams riding and Eritrea having only 3 riders. The population of the country also has no connection to the number of cyclists.
As the graphs show there is no clear link between the number of stages won by riders from a specific country and how many riders are present from that country across the three grand tours. This can be due to riders having to abandon, teams not working together properly, riders not being strong enough to win or GC riders wanting as many stage wins as possible.
